So, Peru Here We Come

Well, where to begin ... we are in Lima, Peru for nearly six months. We were fortunate to keep our jobs ... so we will be working (telecommuting) - so this won't totally be a vacationers blog. While hopefully wee will be able to squeeze in some touristy type stuff, we will probably focus more on the differences we experience here as opposed to the US. Day to day type stuff that we find interesting.

A little background - I'm a 38 y/o East Coast guy who spent the last few years working on the left side of the states ... 1.5 years in Los Angeles and more recently, 4 years in Las Vegas - where as fate would have it,  I met he woman of my dreams - who just happens to be Peruvian.

We were lucky enough to visit Peru with our 5 year old this past holiday season, but in those 2 weeks we really just hit the major local tourist attractions and one short out of town visit. This time around we are here for nearly 6 months and staying at her father's house in Lima.
